The LONG car ride

Day 1 and 2:
It took two days to drive from here to TX, not just Texas, but almost the other side of Texas. Joy, Daniel, Seth and I left Sunday and got there Monday night. I think it was a fairly easy drive, considering we had a 2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old with us.

BUT....that does not count the wooden crate in the middle of the road, tires bouncing out of the back of the truck into our lane of traffic, cardboard boxes in the middle of the road, swerving white cars that try to hit us...and last but not least having to call the police because some MORON desides to drive down the interstate at 75+ miles per hour with his infant sitting in the lap of the passenger.

So, in short 20 hours in the van, traveling through 6 states, one night at a hotel, swerving around random items in the road, seeing someone flying a kite off the side of the interstate, we made it safely to our destination.

So now for a few pix of my cute little boys.
Daniel two nights before we left, hanging out with me after his bath, before he went to bed.Seth in the car the day before we left, "no pictures please!"Can you tell what the picture looks like? Daniel drew this, he said it was a....

Car. Were you right?

Day 3: Joy woke up very sick so she went to the doctor, then was sick all night. She woke up feeling better so we took it easy on Day 3 and 4, but Day 5?!??! That was a lot of fun!

Coming soon....
